My site-specific installation Missing Fundamental is a collaboration with the artist Mattin and his concert Social Dissonance taking place for one hour every day during the Documenta 14 in the last, and challenging, room of the Documenta Hall.
My intervention, starting by hanging 15 felt curtains during the course of the concert, is an attempt to change the acoustics of the space in order to improve the verbal communication between the players, thus increasing the inclination to participate in the game of the group. This piece, therefore, proposes a tangible architectural alteration that can change and support the invisible dynamics between the participants in the space.
